Terms of Service

Last updated: 4 October 2026

1. Who these terms are between

These terms apply to this website and to any design, development or related work we agree to carry out. “We” and “us” mean DanyCrafts, based in the Chouf, Mount Lebanon. “You” means the person or business using the site or commissioning the work. By using the site or engaging us, you accept these terms.

Questions before you commit to anything: contact@danycrafts.com.

2. What we do

We design and build websites — business sites, online stores, and custom projects. What is included in yours is whatever we agree in writing before work starts. Nothing is implied by a page on this site: the written scope for your project is the one that governs it.

3. How a project starts: the demo

For most projects we build a working prototype first, on a real URL, before any invoice is issued. You look at it, on your own phone, and decide.

The demo is a bounded piece of work, not free unlimited design. It covers enough of the site to judge the direction, typically the home page and one inner page.

4. Quotes and payment

Quotes are valid for 30 days and are based on the scope we agreed. If the scope changes, the price and timeline change with it, and we will confirm the new figure in writing before continuing.

[CONFIRM — payment schedule] State the split you actually use, e.g. “50% on approval, 50% on delivery” or “payment in full on delivery”. The previous version of this page said nothing about it at all.

[CONFIRM — non-payment] State what happens if an invoice is not paid: for example, “we retain ownership of the code and may suspend hosting until outstanding invoices are settled”, and any interest or late fee you intend to charge.

Prices on this site are in US dollars and exclude any third-party costs unless stated — domain registration, paid hosting tiers, premium plugins, stock photography and paid APIs are examples.

5. Revisions

[CONFIRM — revisions] State the number of revision rounds included and what counts as one. Something like: “two rounds of revisions within the agreed scope are included; further rounds, or changes to the agreed scope, are quoted separately.”

6. Ownership

Once the project is paid in full, you own the finished website and its content — the design, the pages, and the code we wrote for it — and you may host it wherever you like.

Two things stay with us:

Unless you ask us not to, we may show the finished work in our portfolio and describe it as a case study. We will not publish confidential business information.

7. What we need from you

Projects stall when content does. We will ask for your text, images, logo files and any account access we need. Delays in providing them move the delivery date accordingly. You confirm that anything you send us is yours to use, or that you have permission to use it.

8. Hosting, domains and aftercare

Unless your project includes a hosting and maintenance arrangement, hosting and domain renewal are your responsibility once the site is handed over. Where we provide them, the included period and the renewal price are stated in your project agreement.

9. Uptime and third parties

This website and our clients’ sites depend on services we do not control — hosting providers, domain registrars, email delivery and payment processors. We aim for the site to be available at all times but we cannot promise uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for outages caused by those providers.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost profits, lost business, or lost data — even if we were told they were possible.

Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. This website

The content on this site is provided for information. Case studies describe work we have done; figures and outcomes attributed to clients are reported by them and are not a guarantee of results for your project. Results in this trade depend on your market, your offer and your own follow-through.

Links to clients’ websites are provided so you can see the work. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.

12. Termination

Either side may end a project in writing. If you end it, you pay for the work completed up to that point. If we end it, you pay only for work you have accepted, and we hand over what exists.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your project is the one in place when we agreed it, and any material change will be agreed with you in writing rather than applied retroactively.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, and the courts of Lebanon have jurisdiction over any dispute. Before either of us starts anything formal, we will try to resolve it by talking.
