In short
There is one form on this site, and analytics that stay switched off until you allow them. We do not sell your data, and we do not have accounts, logins or a checkout.
Who we are
DanyCrafts is a web design and development studio based in the Chouf, Mount Lebanon. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean DanyCrafts. You can reach us at contact@danycrafts.com, by phone on +961 71 720 479 (Lebanon) or +1 469 453 4700 (USA).
What we collect
When you send the contact form
We receive the name, email address and message that you type. That is the whole list. We use it to reply to you and to work out whether we are a good fit for your project. We do not add you to a mailing list — there is no newsletter.
The form is delivered by email to our inbox through a third-party email service, Resend. The message passes through their systems on the way. Their handling of it is covered by Resend’s privacy policy.
Analytics, if you allow it
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-Z76XJKSMRW) and Google Tag Manager (container GTM-N2HV3VKV) to understand which pages are useful and which are not.
Neither of these loads until you press Accept on the consent banner. Before you choose, no request is made to Google and no cookie is set. If you press Decline, they never load, and the site works exactly the same.
When enabled, Google Analytics records:
- the pages you visit and how long you spend on them;
- how you arrived — a search engine, a link, or directly — in aggregate;
- your approximate location (city level), device type, browser and screen size;
- your IP address, which Google truncates for storage in the EU.
We see this only as aggregated reports. We cannot identify you individually from them. Google’s handling is described in the Google Privacy Policy, and you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Server logs
Our host, Vercel, keeps standard access logs — IP address, request time, page requested — for security and to keep the site running. These are retained for a short period and then discarded.
Cookies
We set one cookie of our own, and it is not for tracking: it stores your consent choice so the banner does not ask you again on every page. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings, and the banner will reappear.
Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager set their own cookies only after you press Accept. There are no advertising cookies, no pixels, and no third-party tracking beyond the two Google products named above.
Changing your mind
To withdraw consent, clear this site’s cookies and site data in your browser and reload the page. The banner will appear again and you can choose Decline.
How long we keep things
- Contact form messages: up to 24 months, so we can pick up a conversation you started a while ago. Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.
- Analytics data: 14 months, after which Google deletes it automatically.
- Server logs: a short period, set by our host.
Who else sees your information
We do not sell your information and we do not share it for marketing. It reaches only the companies that make this site work:
- Google — analytics, only if you consent.
- Resend — delivering contact form messages to our inbox.
- Vercel — hosting the site and serving the pages you request.
We will also disclose information if we are legally required to, for example in response to a valid court order.
Your rights
Wherever you live, we will honour the same set of requests. You can ask us to:
- show you what we hold about you;
- correct it if it is wrong;
- delete it;
- stop using it, or object to a particular use — including analytics.
Email contact@danycrafts.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. We do not knowingly transfer personal data outside the regions covered by our processors’ own standard contractual clauses.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS with HSTS enabled, and the contact endpoint is rate-limited to slow down automated abuse. No system is perfect, but we do not store your message anywhere other than our email inbox.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Our work pages link to clients’ websites. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else’s site, and their privacy policy applies — not this one.
Changes to this policy
If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the page itself rather than buried.
